appurl.net records details of every visit to a short link, including: IP address, approximate geolocation (country/city/region), ASN, User-Agent, referrer, language, TLS version, client hints, and — for links opened in a browser — device fingerprint signals (screen, timezone, canvas/WebGL).
Purpose: analytics and abuse prevention for link owners and the platform operator.
Retention: detailed logs ~90 days in the primary store, then archived; daily aggregates are kept long-term.
Link owners see masked IPs by default; the platform administrator can see full details. Administrators may, when necessary, sign in as a user account for support.
